This policy explains what data the Mosaic Crochet app ("the app") collects and why. The app is published by Mehmet Yüksel Polat ("we").

No account, your patterns stay on your device

The app has no sign-up and no account. The charts, colors, notes and progress you create are stored only on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.

Data we collect

Usage data (analytics). We use Google Firebase Analytics to see how the app is used, for example which screens are opened and which features are used, plus your optional technique and skill level answers from onboarding. Firebase uses an app instance ID and estimates an approximate location (country or city level) from a masked IP address. The app does not use your device's location services. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Purchase data. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID. If you installed the app from an Apple Search Ads ad, RevenueCat may receive Apple's ad attribution token so we can measure the ad. This data is not linked to your identity.
Ad measurement. The app uses Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports installs and purchases to ad networks in aggregate without identifying you.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos or the advertising identifier (IDFA). The app does not show ads and does not track you.

Payments

Apple handles all payments. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Third-party services

Data retention and deletion

Deleting the app removes all patterns stored on your device. To ask us to delete analytics or purchase records linked to your anonymous ID, email us at [email protected].

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
